Professional development opportunities.Job DetailsThe Equipment Manager oversees all construction equipment — keeping it in good condition, managing inventory, ensuring safety, and supporting project timelines.Key Responsibilities:Keep all equipment properly maintained and safe.Track equipment inventory, usage, repairs, and sales.Buy new equipment and parts, making cost-effective decisions.Handle rental equipment and negotiate the best rates.Hire, train, and manage equipment staff.Set department policies and suggest equipment upgrades.Manage the equipment budget and look for cost savings.Work with vendors and solve equipment problems quickly.Qualifications:At least 8 years of experience managing construction equipment.Strong knowledge of heavy machinery and safety standards.Good leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.Experience with inventory management systems.Valid driver"s license; ability to operate construction equipment.Equipment management certification preferred.Performance Goals:Control costs and maximize equipment value.Minimize downtime and ensure accurate financial reporting.Maintain strong internal controls.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in equipment management.Bachelor"s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar field.Interested in hearing more?
