The ideal candidate will have wage and hour experience in both class action and PAGA and will have experience managing and analyzing records to assess compliance issues on a representative basis. Must also have excellent writing and oral advocacy skills and significant experience in discovery and law and motion practice. Must also be a self-starter who possesses strong organizational skills, is able to work with multiple clients, and is ready to hit the ground running.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategiesArgue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedingsAdvise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of actionConduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motionsDraft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefsCommunicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficientlyQualificationsCommunication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills requiredJobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred AssociationWork independently while handling a heavy caseloadExperience managing information (i.e. time records) in ExcelComputer skills working with iManage and Coyote Analytics preferredInterested in hearing more?
