Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.2. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.3. Manage cash flow and forecasting. Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.4. Optimize the handling of banking relationships and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.5. Oversee budgeting and the implementation of budgets so as to monitor progress and present financial metrics both internally and externally.6. Manage and track the performance of invested assets in keeping with policies and investment guidelines.7. Leverage strengths of the current finance team members, help to clarify roles and responsibilities and develop and implement training programs in order to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.8. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.Qualifications:1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Masters in Finance required.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial position, preferably in the non-profit sector.3. Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.4. Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.5. Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.6. Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management, organization"s board of directors, and staff.7. Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.8. Passion for our non-profit's mission is essential.9.
