This role blends responsibilities from both manufacturing operations and warehouse/logistics management — it"s about keeping the production flow running smoothly. Oversee inventory management, purchasing, production planning, and warehouse operations to meet company goals. Develop and communicate material management policies and procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality processes. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of material operations. Handle day-to-day administrative tasks including maintaining files and processing paperwork efficiently. Stay up-to-date with the latest tools, technology, and best practices in material management. Foster open communication with management to enhance productivity, performance, and coordination across teams. Cross-train teams to maximize flexibility and ensure seamless operations. Take on additional responsibilities as needed.Qualifications: Minimum 6 years of experience in warehouse and/or materials management. Proven track record in implementing process improvements and optimizing workflows. Strong understanding of KPIs and the ability to develop, monitor, and act on them. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Leadership experience, with the ability to manage a team of at least 25 direct and indirect reports. Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated, with the capacity to work independently under pressure and tight deadlines. (Preferred) Experience with lean principles such as Kaizen, Kanban, 5S, Six Sigma, and 5 Why. (Preferred) Experience in change management and the creation of standard operating procedures.Education/Certification: A Bachelor"s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
