You will have the opportunity to work on traffic engineering projects and traffic aspects of larger projects such as complete streets, arterial corridors, traffic interchanges and bicycle boulevards. Work may include traffic modeling, traffic impact studies, traffic reports for roadway projects, safety studies, parking studies, signal timing and coordination, planning efforts, grant funding applications, signing and striping design, and traffic signal design.Responsibility Highlights for our Project Engineer - TrafficManaging technical aspects of project delivery, including preparing and/or reviewing project models, reports, etc.Creatively thinking of solutions or alternatives for challenging engineering issuesCoordinating with sub-consultants and internal project team members and managing activities of internal staffEstablishing and monitoring adherence to project schedule and budgetProviding all necessary coordination and follow-up on the work to ensure quality standards are met, efficiency levels are maintained, and client satisfaction, respect and confidence are assuredMeeting with clients, preparing and delivering presentations, as requiredMinimum Qualifications to be our Project Engineer - TrafficBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.Minimum 4+ years of experience with skills to navigate multi-disciplined engineering projects.Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona (or ability to obtain).Technical knowledge in traffic engineering with proven experience in preparing technical reports, designs, specifications, and computations.Experience with Synchro/SimTraffic and/or VISSIMStrong oral and written communication skillsInterested in hearing more?
