This individual will play a crucial role in reviewing, analyzing, and processing medical claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry regulations. This position is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in medical coding and claims examination, who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, possess excellent analytical skills, and have a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:1. Review and analyze medical claims to verify accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations.2. Identify and address discrepancies in claims and work closely with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve any issues.3. Use medical coding systems such as CPC, CCS, CPCH, epic, EZ Cap, and Epic Tapestry to accurately code and process claims.4. Provide expert consultation to clients on complex claims issues, providing recommendations and solutions to optimize claims management processes.5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in healthcare regulations, medical coding systems, and insurance policies.6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.7. Conduct audits of claims processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards.8. Provide training and mentorship to junior claims examiners, imparting knowledge and skills to enhance their professional growth.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.2. 5+ years of experience in medical claims examination, with a strong background in medical coding.3. Proficient in medical coding systems such as CPC, CCS, CPCH, epic, EZ Cap, and Epic Tapestry.4. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to review and interpret complex medical claims.5. In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and insurance policies.6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively consult with clients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in claims.8. Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.9.
