The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about workplace safety and have a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs in the construction industry. They will be a proactive leader who can build relationships with project teams and subcontractors to ensure safety compliance across all levels of the organization.Key Responsibilities Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies Develop and implement safety procedures, policies, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices Provide safety training to employees and subcontractors on proper work practices, equipment usage, and emergency procedures Investigate accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, assisting in the development of corrective actions Monitor and report on key safety performance indicators (KPIs) for projects Review and approve contractor safety plans prior to construction Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to reinforce safety awareness Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and training activities Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry standardsQualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety inspection or management Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction industry safety standards Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and safety management software Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sitesInterested in hearing more?
