This position will play a critical role in the continuous improvement of our manufacturing operations, ensuring our facilities are running efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of plant engineering, maintenance, and facilities operations.Responsibilities: Lead the plant engineering team to maintain and improve the manufacturing process, equipment, and facilities. Develop and implement a robust preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and optimize equipment life. Oversee all plant and facilities projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to plant operations and facilities. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements, cost reductions, and productivity enhancements. Manage the plant's energy management program to reduce energy consumption and costs. Develop and manage the capital budget for plant and facilities projects. Evaluate new technologies and equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and environmentally compliant plant environment. Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation, performance evaluation, and issue resolution. Provide technical guidance and training to plant personnel.Qualifications: Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant engineering and facilities management in a manufacturing environment. Proven track record of managing complex plant and facilities projects. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and facilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong leadership and team management skills. Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software. Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to plant operations and facilities. Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) or similar certification is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
