Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a highly motivated EA-18G Mission Avionics Manager to become part of the Fighters Mission Systems team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position will be in the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.The candidate will enable the EA-18G (Growler aircraft) portion of the F-18 Mission Systems organization to continue to expand its business base and will participate in advancing fighter aircraft technology by leading an Engineering team focused on hardware development and integrated Weapon System capability testing. The team performs development and test of advanced concepts, equipment and software for various communication, sensor, electronic warfare and other electromagnetic systems and components. The team is also responsible for developing system/subsystem requirements, participating with Software engineers with real-time Operational Flight Program (OFP) development, subsystem/system testing, and evaluating system performance in Flight Test. Simulation and modeling is utilized to assist in requirements development, software development and offsets some Flight Test verification. This position will also oversee the execution of specific subsystem development and work closely with USN/DCMA customers and suppliers.Position Responsibilities:Ensure that the team delivers safe and high-quality program products within cost and scheduleCoordination with program management, suppliers, customers and other Boeing teamsProvide technical, programmatic and process leadership to team membersMonitor team and supplier performance to ensure proper system integration and compliance with requirementsSupport production and USN fleet with issue resolution for delivered hardware and software over the entire product life cyclePerform managerial HR functionsLead, develop, and motivate employeesThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
