This role is the face of Scan Design and the bridge between the client and the company. The Sales Design Consultant serves clients one on one, builds relationships, and creates beautiful projects, while providing excellent customer service at every step. This is a full-time, commissioned position with a minimum guarantee draw. The schedule is a 5 day workweek and includes weekends, evenings, and holidays. This role must meet monthly sales expectations.Compensation:Commission Earning Potential $45,000 to $85,000+Guaranteed draw per pay-periodGeneral Responsibilities:Create and assist clients with design projectsSelect components from our collections to create a unique and purposeful space for each clientFormulate solutions to satisfy client's needsPrepare sketches using Floor Planner software for client presentationOwn and manage the sales order process from start to finishConduct client home visits to measure spaces, introduce options, and maximize project workAssist with maintaining showroom aesthetics, including floor moves and cleanliness, to ensure an inspired client experience Create and maintain positive and professional client, vendor, and coworker relationships both inside and outside the storeMaintain a professional appearance that is fitting of the environment in which we workPermanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements:Previous experience in interior design or other related fieldsProven sales experienceFamiliarity with design software platforms preferred but not requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, Bi-lingual a plusHigh school diploma required; college degree preferredOther Information:The statements contained herein reflect general details as necessary to describe the principal functions of this job, the level of knowledge and skill typically required, but should not be considered an all-inclusive listing.
