Sales and Professional Development TrainerUS-MI-LivoniaJob ID: Type: Regular Full-Time# of Openings: 1Category: SalesLivonia, MI HybridOverviewThe Sales and Professional Development Trainer is responsible for supporting the Direct Sales Unit and Field Agents through the training and development of new and existing associates. This role will be identifying trends, monitoring changes and recommending resolutions to ensure the member experience has been positively impacted. Expected to train all associates within the collaborate units and ensure they understand the sales process and their impact on the member's experience. The ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, both verbal and written, and are able to convey information, ideas, training and sales concepts to the Direct Sales Unit and external business partners as needed. The role is expected to be an expert in all relevant AAA Life products, processes and systems. The position requires a hands-on self-starter with the ability to empower and lead others and show the value of the training through metrics and numbers.Responsibilities Position Responsibilities Develop and deliver Sales Training and Professional Development training programs that improve agent productivity and sales effectiveness. Measure and report outcomes of effectiveness.Maintain productive relationships with Direct Sales Unit Agents and Leadership as well as establish relationships with Field Agent and Leadership.Collaborate with the Manager of Sales Training and Professional Development and other SMEs in the development, implementation and maintenance of all course materials for field agents and Direct Sales Unit with an emphasis on sales skills training which include: electronic based, presentations, guides, syllabus, resources, webinars and classroom style training.Researches and keeps up-to-date on methods or modalities of training delivery and recommends appropriate improvements to the AAA Life training strategy based on assessments and evaluation of current training.Develop, implement, and maintain the delivery of broad-based training and professional development programs. Identifies and implements activities to support successful learning and application of knowledge and skills acquired.Develops, presents and effectively communicates sales ideas/concepts to agents and managers in the Direct Sales Unit and the field.Actively participates in life insurance industry associations.Analyzes data. Implements quality monitoring programs that result in measurable behavioral changes in agents. Identify and report on trends early and often. Identify and recommend process and project improvementsBased on quality review of recorded and live calls, provides recommendations on training content, to enhance efficiencies and effectiveness of the department. Partner with training and the business to reinforce compliance with new launches, processes, and policies.Design the criteria used to assess learner's performance and develop assessment instruments to measure training effectivenessConducts New Hire training classes in a comprehensive manner to ensure associates can contribute immediately upon graduation of the training program.Advises management as to the progress associates are making with regard to training and orientation initiatives and makes recommendations for enhanced or additional training.Demonstrates expertise on all relevant AAA Life products, processes and systems.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience between life insurance sales and/or in designing, developing, and conducting trainingSales or training experience in a call center environment considered a plusExperience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Virtual Meeting Platforms and Salesforce or similar management systemsAbility to coach and influence othersAbility to establish and maintain effective professional relationshipsAbility to perform and/or coordinate the completion of multiple simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining deadlinesWell organized, project management orientationSelf-motivated, ability to work in a team environment and autonomouslyStrong analytical, communication, and decision-making skillsCreate and maintain processing procedure manuals, rules and instructionsExperience with learning development tools such as, Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), web based animation software, and video editing software is helpfulWhat We Offer:A collaborative, energetic work environment where you can put your passion for people to workMedical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability coverage available day onePension PlanPerformance-based incentive plan401k available with a Company matchHolidays and Paid Time OffAAA Basic MembershipPM21PIca00b3bfb42c-6068
