This role focuses on the troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial electromechanical systems. Experience with automated processes is essential; exposure to pulp and paper equipment is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, and control systems, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.Why join us? Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Interpret technical documentation including electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and PLC ladder logic. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve equipment performance and reliability. Respond promptly to breakdowns and production support needs in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain safety and quality standards. Utilize CMMS systems to log maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes (NFPA 70E, NEC, OSHA standards, etc.).________________________________________Qualifications: Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in industrial automation environments. Strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals. Experience with automated process systems, such as those used in pulp and paper, chemical, or continuous manufacturing operations, is highly desirable. Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout procedures and industrial safety protocols. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call support as needed.________________________________________Preferred: Experience in pulp and paper manufacturing or similar process-intensive industries.
