Director of Professional Learning

The client is seeking a Director of Professional Learning to join the Wilmington Learning Collaborative (WLC) in Delaware. The WLC is a network of schools across multiple districts, serving approximately 2,500 students from PreK to 8th grade. The main goals of the WLC are to create consistency for students, empower educators and school leaders, and improve outcomes for students in Wilmington schools. The Executive Director, Dr. Laura Burgos, has already identified three Big Shifts and established collaborative structures within the schools and districts.The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for leading professional learning initiatives for educators within the WLC. They will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that all professional development opportunities are equity-focused and future-oriented. The Director of Professional Learning will play a key role in removing barriers to student success and supporting educators in implementing best practices in teaching and learning.This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a significant impact on student outcomes in Wilmington schools.
