Executive Vice President Provost

The client is seeking an Executive Vice President & Provost to provide vision and leadership for academic programs at Florida Gulf Coast University. Reporting directly to the President, the EVP will serve as the Universitys chief executive officer in the Presidents absence. This role is crucial as FGCU continues to focus on expanding excellence in academic and student success initiatives, with the EVP supporting over 635 faculty members in six colleges and more than 95 programs.The Executive Vice President & Provost will play a key role in implementing FGCUs ambitious 2024-2029 strategic plan, focusing on academic excellence and innovation. As a member of the Presidents Cabinet, the EVP will be responsible for guiding the university in all matters related to academic programs and pursuing academic excellence. This position comes at a critical moment in FGCUs trajectory, with the EVP joining the university as it continues to grow and develop.The successful candidate for this role will have a strong background in academic leadership and a proven track record of supporting faculty and academic programs.
