The HR Payroll Administrator will be responsible for managing payroll processes, administering employee benefits, and implementing HR policies. Daily tasks include processing payroll, updating employee records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and providing support to employees regarding HR-related queries.Duties will *****Onboarding new hiresSubmitting information for any workers comp accidentsStay up to date on employee terminations and employee filesAnnual review spreadsheet/updating employee pay/PTO hours in payroll systemUnemployment separation information for terminated employees that fileYearly health insurance renewalYearly 401k censusChecking weekly Retirement website for changes to employees 401k and updating in ERP systemConfirming timecards for weekly payrollData entry for submitting weekly payrollUploading 401k file to ADP each week after payroll processesApprenticeship paperwork, update upgrades, update OJT hours, keep track of tuition, etc.Certified payroll - this needs to be done weekly to ensure no late payrolls for DLLRQualificationsHuman Resources (HR) and HR Policies experienceProficiency in Payroll Administration and Employee Benefits managementStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work on-site in Parkville, MDDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in handling sensitive informationExperience in the construction industry is a plusSoftware experience with Sage 300 CRE, iSolved, ADP and DLLR Certified PayrollSalary range is negotiable based on experience, particularly with construction payroll and DLLR Certified Payrolls.
