Position OverviewSenior real estate finance paralegals provide legal support for a complete spectrum of commercial real estate finance transactions including mortgage, mezzanine and construction loans for all commercial asset classes, representing commercial and investment banks and other regulated and non-regulated lenders. Specific duties include, but are not limited to the **Essential *Coordinate real estate finance (mortgage and mezzanine loan) closingsOrder UCC/litigation/judgment/bankruptcy searchesPrepare and file UCC financing statementsAssemble and distribute transaction documentsDeliver closing documents to title companies for recordingAssemble and distribute closing setsHandle custodial deliveries and attention to client post-closing protocolsRequirements:Bachelors Degree5+ years of real estate/ finance paralegal experience in a law firmStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills and ability to follow complex instructionsAbility to interact in a professional, cooperative and tactful manner with clients, co-workers and transaction partiesDetail-oriented and adaptablePunctualExcellent verbal, written, organizational, computer and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, solve problems and act proactivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAvailability to work overtime as required.Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPointThe anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $160,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location from which the applicant will be performing the job.**** Cadwalader is an equal opportunity employer.
