Service Technician

At ChemStation we are "Keeping it Clean" via "Refill...not Landfill." We are headquartered in Dayton, Ohio and have 63 individual Manufacturing Centers across North America.Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Service Technician in the chemical industry. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing chemical dispensing equipment and systems at customer sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.Key Responsibilities:Equipment Installation & Maintenance: Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical dispensing systems and related equipment at customer locations.Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, replacing faulty components as necessary.Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of chemical dispensing equipment.Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work complies with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards, including proper handling of chemicals.Inventory & Documentation: Maintain service records, complete work orders, and track inventory of parts and tools.Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to address customer needs and enhance service quality.Travel: Travel to customer sites as needed, which may include overnight stays.Qualifications & Skills:Experience: 2+ years in a service technician role, preferably in the chemical, industrial, or related field.Technical Skills: Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills; ability to work with pumps, valves, and dispensing systems.Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate degree is a plus).Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various environments, and stand for extended periods.Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Why Join Us?Competitive salary and benefits package.Career growth opportunities within a dynamic industry.Hands-on training and professional development.A collaborative and supportive work environment.Apply Today!If you are a detail-oriented technician with a passion for customer service and technical problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you.
