We want Holloway to be the company where you build your career and retire from.THE ROLEThis is a full time, exempt position that will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, safety, and financial performance, while leading the effort to bring the plant online into full operational readiness. This role requires a strong leader who can manage large-scale projects, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements. Acting as a liaison between the facility and corporate management, the Plant Manager will implement strategies to achieve business goals while managing resources effectively. Once the plant is operational, this individual will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, foster a culture of safety and teamwork, and ensure operational excellence.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESOversee all plant operations to achieve production goals, maintain quality, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulationsOversight of project plan to bring the plant online including identification of potential risks to timeline and budget and development of mitigation strategiesRecruit, onboard, lead, mentor, and manage department heads and staff to build a high-performing, accountable teamManage the facilitys/projects budget, monitor expenses, and drive cost-saving initiatives to meet profitability targetsEnsure adherence to OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and environmental regulations, championing a culture of safety and risk mitigationFoster teamwork and collaboration among all employeesDrive operational excellence through process optimization and implementation of best practicesOwn installation, calibration, testing, commissioning of machineryIdentify and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiencyManage resources effectively to achieve financial objectivesAct as the primary liaison between the facility and corporate management align operations with company goalsRepresent the company with community stakeholders and regulatory agenciesESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred)7-10 years of plant operations and startup experience, including 5 years in managementStrong knowledge of industrial processes, machinery, installation, maintenance strategies, and regulatory compliance, with proficiency in ERP and CMMS systemsProven experience managing large-scale industrial projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocationProven ability to recruit, train and lead teams and team leadersIn-depth understanding of OSHA and environmental regulations, with a focus on workplace safety and risk management. Cal-OSHA knowledge is preferredExperience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency, safety, and quality is preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSkilled in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control to align plant and project performance with company objectivesPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND REQUIREMENTSEnvironmental conditions - Must be able to work outside in all different weather conditions including extreme cold and extreme heatMay at times be exposed to dangerous and/or toxic substances and must take necessary precautions to protect eyes, nose and skin from irritation and infectionOccasionally lift and carry materials or tools weighing up to 25 poundsWalk and stand for long periods of timeAble to climb a minimum of 2 story of stairsWillingness to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, during project phases or critical plant operationsAvailability to travel to corporate offices, contractor locations, or other sites as required for project coordination or operational supportMust pass drug screen and physical. Must have a valid Driver's License.
