The ideal candidate will have experience in selling or supporting paving products. The candidate will be responsible for selling all represented BOMAG products including Mills and Planers, Pavers, Rollers, Trash Compactor, and Distribution Trucks. The ideal candidate will live in South Georgia in Valdosta or Savannah. The candidate will call on Paving Contractors, Municipalities, Landfills, and general contractors with prior relationships and experience preferred.ResponsibilitiesConducts survey of assigned territoryLocates new prospects and determines their needsPresents to prospects the benefits of Bomag equipment and our companyMaintains data on new contractsDevelops good working relationships with customersAssists customers in resolving technical issuesMeets and/or exceeds assigned sales quotaAttends industry exhibits, demonstrations and meetingsMonitors new products developed by our manufacturers and competitorsEnsures literature, brochures and pricing sheets are organized and up-to-dateDocuments calls made to customersAdvises manager of all changes in territory which can affect company successVerifies equipment is delivered as ordered and in a timely mannerWorks closely with Credit Manager to resolve credit/payment issuesPerforms other duties as requested by managerAdditional DutiesDevelops relationships with internal customersEducation/Experience/SkillBachelor's degreeExperience in heavy equipment sales preferredMinimum five years sales experienceExcellent customer service skillsLinder Industrial Machinery Company is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
