Influencer Marketing StrategistJob DescriptionSummaryMaxwell, an award-winning integrated communications agency serving regional and national purpose-driven brands, is looking for an influencer marketing strategist for our tourism and natural food brands. A self-starter who thrives working in a collaborative team environment, the ideal candidate brings strong experience developing strategic paid + earned influencer programs, identifying and building relationships with influencers on various digital platforms, opportunity spotting for partnerships, and negotiating partner contracts.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute influencer campaign strategies that support major marketing campaigns, product launches, and always-on programmingHelp identify influencers to participate in ongoing earned and paid influencer marketing programs, consistent with brand objectives and guidelinesEffectively negotiate influencer contracts, and own and manage select influencer and influencer agency relationshipsAdd to the creation of influencer branded experiences, from events to product gifting and presentationDemonstrate understanding of client business strategies, products and services offered, and ensure these are reflected in communications and programsClosely follow social media & trends and make recommendations based on influencer/social landscape including category and competitive trendsServe as the agency liaison for influencer platform vendors (e.g., CreatorIQ), joining regular meetings and proactively sharing updates with the teamDrive influencer metric and tracking standards and ensure performance metrics are metPresent influencer program components, status to clientsBring Your Experience 5+ years experience driving and working with influencers on paid and earned programsExcellent communication skills, adept at presenting ideas, shaping stories and giving feedbackHighly accountable and deadline drivenStrategic thinker with business acumen and good judgementCalm and courteous under pressureA curious learner, collaborative and open to feedback and growthBachelor's degree in journalism, PR or communications preferredEnjoy the BenefitsCompetitive compensationFull employee benefits including medical, dental and vision, as well as alternative care401K matchGenerous paid holidays and vacationRegular check-ins and an "Always On" approach to feedback and goal settingProfessional development opportunitiesA positive, balanced work-lifeAbout UsMaxwell is a woman-owned, integrated marketing agency serving national consumer brands in food & beverage, wellness, outdoor, hospitality and tourism.
