Web UX Copywriter (contract)Hybrid role in San Francisco, in office 3x/week40 hours/weekPay TBD ~$50-$65/hr. depending on experienceWere looking for a Web UX Copywriter who blends creativity with precision"”someone who can craft clear, concise, and compelling digital copy that guides, delights, and informs. You'll work at the intersection of brand voice and user behavior, writing content that improves the customer journey and elevates the digital experience across web platforms.This role requires deep empathy for users, a strong grasp of UX principles, and the ability to write clean, actionable copy that helps people accomplish their goals while staying true to our brand.Key Responsibilities:Write UX and interface copy for web pages, landing pages, navigation, CTAs, forms, and tooltipsCollaborate closely with designers, product managers, developers, and brand teams to shape user flows and messagingTranslate technical information and product features into user-friendly, benefit-focused languageEnsure copy aligns with brand voice and tone while optimizing for clarity, accessibility, and usabilityParticipate in wireframing sessions, content audits, and A/B testing initiativesPartner with SEO and analytics teams to support content optimization and performance trackingContribute to the evolution and maintenance of the content style guide and UX writing best practicesQualifications:3-5 years of experience in UX, product, or web copywriting"”ideally in fintech, consumer tech, or digital productsStrong portfolio of UX or web content that shows clarity, voice, and user-centered thinkingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with Figma, design systems, and content management toolsUnderstanding of accessibility, SEO fundamentals, and UX writing standardsHighly collaborative, organized, and detail-orientedBonus Points If You:Have experience writing for financial products or regulated industriesHave worked in agile, cross-functional product teamsLove testing, iterating, and continuously improving content based on data and user feedback
