We are looking for a Personal Trainer to join our Xtend Fitness & Wellness team. We provide you the clients, take care of all of the marketing and billing, and all you have to do is focus on providing a world-class training experience.We offer an exceptional training experience and empower our clients to succeed in their journey. We use a comprehensive 3-step approach to health. Through the 3 Pillars of Xtend: Accountability, Education and Motivation; we help our clients successfully achieve their health and wellness goals. We stick to scientifically-proven methods and ensure our services are fun, safe and specific to the needs of our clients.ResponsibilitiesThis person must be goal-driven, able to perform the following job requirements and possess the following skills and credentials:Provide a professional and positive client experienceWork 1:1 and in small groups with clients to help them meet their fitness goalsPrescribe fitness programs for clients to follow in person and remotelyAny and all administrative duties related to planning workouts, reporting hours, and scheduling training sessions with clientsOther duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Qualifications:Currently certified through one of the nationally accredited industry associations (NASM, ACSM, NSCA, ACE, etc.)NASM CPT is preferred but not necessary to start. You must have your NASM CPT certification within 90 days.CPR/AED and First Aid certified at time of hireMinimum of 1 year personal training experience working with clientsPreferred QualificationsDemonstrated ability to perform necessary training movements and exercisesExcellent communication skillsProven ability to teach and motivate othersBasic understanding of nutritionAbility to work with many different types of people in a workplace wellness settingPhysical Requirements:Requires long periods of standing or sittingModerate use of computer, tablet, or smartphone softwareAbility to lift 50 lbs. Some lifting may require additional assistance from another staff person.
