Our client, a respected health insurance provider based in Duluth, GA, is seeking a dedicated Korean Speaking Health Insurance Specialist. This individual will play a critical role in supporting clients across Individual Health Plans, Medicare, and Group Plans. The ideal candidate brings a blend of compassion, attention to detail, and healthcare knowledge"”ensuring each client receives personalized, accurate support throughout their insurance journey.Individual Health Plan SupportGuide clients through Open Enrollment (annually from Nov 1 - Dec 15)Assist with plan selection and enrollment processesAddress service-related issues (billing, claims, PCP changes, etc.)Liaise with insurance carriers on behalf of membersComplete all necessary certifications ahead of enrollment seasonsMedicare ServicesSupport both Annual (Oct 15 - Dec 7) and Open Enrollment (Jan 1 - Mar 31) periodsMaintain AHIP and carrier-specific certificationsAttend virtual/in-person training and carrier kickoff eventsEducate and assist members with Medicare plan enrollments and service issuesGroup Health Plan AdministrationProvide quotes and enroll small group clientsSupport renewals, new hire enrollments, and terminationsParticipate in group client meetings and address ongoing service needsCollaborate with carriers and coordinate follow-upsAdditional Client SupportHelp clients apply for Medicare cards and Social Security Retirement BenefitsParticipate in community/client seminars as neededCandidate Requirements:Bilingual fluency in Korean and English (spoken and written)Previous experience in health insurance (individual, Medicare, or group plans preferred)Highly organized with strong multitasking and communication skillsCustomer-focused with a proactive problem-solving approachAHIP certification preferred (or must be obtained within 30 days of employment)Benefits Package:Comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with discretionary employer match10 days PTO annually (vacation blackout Oct-Dec)Ongoing training and certification supportOpportunity for performance-based bonusesAre you ready to make a move?
