An esteemed hospitality property is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to oversee and elevate its In-Room Dining and Minibar operations during evening hours. This temp-to-permanent role offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-touch guest experience while gaining leadership exposure within a luxury environment. This is an ideal position for a poised and service-driven professional looking to grow into a long-term role with one of the most guest-focused teams in hospitality. Compensation is $30 per hour, with overtime available based on business needs.Responsibilities:Lead evening operations for In-Room Dining and Minibar, ensuring excellence in guest service and deliveryMotivate and guide team members, providing support and real-time coachingManage evening staffing, floor coverage, and service executionFacilitate VIP orders and specialized amenities, ensuring accuracy and a sense of occasionCollaborate with teams on custom in-room experiences for events and special guestsMonitor inventory levels and vendor interactions to maintain smooth operationsUphold all safety, sanitation, and health compliance standardsExecute financial procedures, including evening close-outs and reportingAddress and resolve guest concerns with a calm, service-first approachRepresent the department at meetings when scheduled, offering insights from PM operationsFoster a work culture that reflects warmth, discretion, and professionalismRequired Qualifications:Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)Experience leading a team in food & beverage or luxury service settingsProfessional demeanor with an eye for detail and personalized serviceSolid organizational and time management skills during high-volume periodsAbility to work PM/Evening shifts, including weekends and holidaysFamiliarity with POS systems and basic business software (Excel, Word, Outlook)Foundational understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and labor managementPreferred:3-5 years of relevant experience in a luxury hotel or high-end food & beverage operationPrevious experience in union environmentsExperience specifically in In-Room Dining or Minibar operationsFormal training or hospitality certificationPhysical Requirements:Frequent movement of trays, carts, or inventory itemsWalking and standing throughout shift, including stair accessBending and lifting for minibar stocking and room service setupsAbility to use technology, handle service reports, and ensure cleanliness standardsOccasional use of cleaning agents and protective wear as neededIf you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
