Press Room (Production) Manager

Co. is a leader in short run metal stamped parts as a job-shop manufacturer we produce thousands of parts to various specifications in almost every industry imaginable.The ideal candidate will: be responsible for overseeing the Safety, Quality, and Production processes in the Press Room, Finishing, and Assembly areas of our facility. Will be able to plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet productivity, scrap, and rework goals. Ensure that personnel are fully trained, committed to and operate in accordance with all aspects of safety and quality systems and requirements. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE Phoenix Specialty is a contract manufacturer of specialty stamped parts; direct experience in a job-shop environment that has worked with metals and outside services and specifications is a must. The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills:·        Leadership - ability and willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions, and direction. ·        Analytical thinking - use logic to address work-related issues and problems.·        Initiative - take on responsibilities and challenges.·        Integrity - demonstrate honest and ethical behaviors. ·        Quality Control Analysis - inspection of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality and performance. ·        Understanding and experience with basic part measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauge. ·        Knowledge and understanding of Productivity and the effect is has on a company. ·        Experience and strong background in MS Office and Visual Manufacturing. ·        Exceptional mechanical aptitude. ·        Participate in all departmental personnel actions, such as hiring, evaluations, or promotions. QUALIFICATIONS·        High School Diploma or equivalent required. ·        Higher education or equivalent professional accolades is a plus.·        "The buck stops here" mindset required.
