AV Technician is needed for a contract opportunity with our Energy Industry client located in Pennsylvania.Job DetailsDuration: 24 months initial contractStart date: March 2025Location: Full onsite Audubon PAHourly pay rate: max rate of $28.00-$40.00 hourlyA/V Technician SummaryProvide professional audio visual services and support to visitors and executives, some international, many with the federal government, in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with audio setup and production for corporate business meeting and conferences. We're looking for an organized and self-motivated audio guru with additional technical skills. The candidate should feel comfortable working with many audio systems, platforms, mixing boards, and be able to troubleshoot audio issues in real-time in high stress events and meetings. In order to be successful in this position you must have a can do attitude, be a problem solver, be detail-oriented, professional, and be willing to work in a live event setting with audio and video. The ideal candidate will also have experience with virtual meeting applications, with a concentration in WebEx and Microsoft Teams. Candidate would be responsible for supporting all internal and external events that require technical assistance. These events include large conferences/symposiums, training sessions, various stakeholder meetings, as well as a variety of daily business meetings between corporate staff, stakeholders, and governmental agencies. The A/V Group also manages all technical equipment installed at their campus including the daily operation and support of a state-of-the-art corporate conference center. Daily support activities include a variety of technical tasks such as configuring, operating, and trouble-shooting integrated A/V systems, a variety of projectors/displays, microphones, various sound equipment, computer systems, internet-based collaboration software tools, computer networking settings, and video conferencing systems. Setup and install audio input and output devices, including microphones, mixers, and speakers. Enable seamless sight and sound connectivity across multiple sources, including web conferences, live mix, recorded material, and system prompts. Manage expectations appropriately to often demanding clientele. Deliver service with a smile. Be well-respected within the organization for both service delivery and technical capabilities. Build and develop strong relationships by providing superior customer support as demonstrated by clearly owning, resolving and communicating issues and problems; being responsive to needs, requirements, and deadlines; and generally promoting goodwill in a professional and trust-building manner.Requirements: 3+ years of professional video/audio capabilities, with experience in a corporate environment. Experience with video/audio production and post production, including, but not limited to a variety of audio installation, operation, software, and more. Be ready to offer technical support for the Conference and Training Center, other corporate conference rooms, and certain offsite events.Estimated Min Rate: $28.00Estimated Max Rate: $40.00Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
