JOB POSITION: Legal Administrative AssistantAbout the jobMiller Knauff Law Firm, a small-sized Texas civil litigation and insurance defense firm, seeks a full-time, experienced Litigation Assistant for its Dallas Office. Successful candidates must be professional with a strong and proven background in working with a combination of partners, associates, and paralegals. Must be organized with the ability to multitask and work independently. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. This position plays an intricate role in day-to-day operations.Our firm represents various clients and corporations involved in various litigation matters. We require a strong work ethic. If you join us, you will be well supported by a group of experienced professionals who not only want you to succeed but will help you to succeed.REQUIREMENTS:All Candidates MUST reside within a 20-mile radius of our office (located at 12221 Merit Dr, Dallas, TX 75251)Prior experience in office administration or other related fields is preferred but not requiredResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:E-filing of E-serving of various legal documents, both state and federalLegal document preparationScheduling travel, depositions, client meetings, and coordinating/executing all planning logisticsLegal terminology is a mustAssist with attorney time entry and managementManage phone - answering calls, professional communication skills related to speaking with clients, vendors, adjusters, and attorneys to resolve requests pertaining to matters, and respond to case management inquiriesAssist paralegals as needed with a variety of assignmentsAssist with case preparation for depositions, hearings, and trialsMust have a team player attitude and be solutions-oriented in task management and executionQualifications/Requirements:Excellent time management skills.Effective communication and organization abilities.Ability to multitask and prioritize workstreams.Confidentiality will be maintained in all talks and negotiations.Miller Knauff Law Firm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
