Trustpoint.One is pleased to partner with an Am Law 200 civil defense litigation law firm firm in its search for a Healthcare Litigation Paralegal. This is a direct hire, full-time role, and is primarily on-site (4 days in office; 1 day remote after initial 90 day training period) out of the Firms Philadelphia, PA offices.Primary duties of the Healthcare Litigation Paralegal include but are not limited **Obtaining, reviewing, and analyzing medical records, financial records, and employment records;Summarizing medical records and providing chronology;Compiling evidence; managing files; and managing court docket calendar;Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel;Providing status reports and indexes;Performing legal research and providing insightful analysis; Assisting with trial preparation (preparing notebooks, exhibits, and witness files);Communicating with and identifying expert witnesses; Analyzing and communicating issues surrounding expert qualifications and experience; andPerforming other tasks as needed.All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time. Infrequent lifting and carrying of up to 30 pounds.The successful Healthcare Litigation Paralegal will *3-5+ years of paralegal experience in healthcare litigation;Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree;Paralegal Certificate from ABA-approved program preferred;An eye for detail and be highly organized;Strong ability to prioritize workload; Ability to manage fast-paced discovery and independently manage caseload and maintain confidentiality;Strong communication skills;A desire to demonstrate teamwork and willingness to learn new skills.This is an exciting direct hire opportunity to join a reputable law and add value to a team that offers advancement and sound future!Work week is 37.5 hours with OT starting at 40 hours.
