POSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for a consumer-obsessed, data-driven marketing leader with a strong P&L mindset and a passion for innovation, storytelling, and omnichannel execution to be our Brand Director.Brand Director will lead the strategic vision, brand equity development, and execution of marketing initiatives for a power brand. This role requires deep expertise in brand building, consumer engagement, and commercial strategy to drive category leadership and long-term sustainable growth. As a key leader within the organization, this role will work cross-functionally with commercial, innovation, insights, and global teams to shape the brand's future.RESPONSIBILITIESBrand Strategy & Consumer-Centric MarketingLead the development and execution of the long-term brand strategy and positioning roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and consumer trends.Champion a consumer-first approach, leveraging insights and analytics to craft compelling, culturally relevant storytelling and purpose-driven marketing campaigns.Drive brand affinity and equity through authentic engagement, ensuring the brand connects deeply with key target consumers.Integrated Marketing & Commercial Strategy AlignmentOversee the development of fully integrated marketing plans, ensuring seamless execution across paid, owned, and earned channels, including traditional media, digital, experiential, and e-commerce.Partner with sales, trade, and commercial marketing teams to align brand objectives with retail execution, on-premise activation, and distribution plans.Ensure marketing programs drive both brand demand and commercial impact, balancing brand-building with sales growth objectives.Omnichannel & Digital AccelerationDefine the U.S. digital and social media strategy, ensuring alignment with global brand house guidelines while tailoring content to local market dynamics.Lead influencer marketing, content creation, and CRM strategies to drive meaningful consumer engagement and community building.Leverage data-driven performance marketing to optimize media investments and e-commerce growth.Portfolio & Innovation LeadershipDrive portfolio strategy, identifying whitespace opportunities and leading new product innovation efforts from ideation to launch.Partner with global teams to develop product innovations that enhance brand relevance and premiumization.Manage ongoing packaging evolution, product renovations, and line extensions in response to market trends.Financial & Business Performance ManagementOwn full P&L responsibility for the brand, managing budgets, optimizing investments, and ensuring strong marketing ROI.Monitor brand performance, market trends, and competitive activity to identify risks and opportunities, driving proactive decision-making.Cultural Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead and develop a team of 2-4 direct reports, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and high performance.Provide mentorship and career development, ensuring talent pipelines are built for future growth.CAPABILITIES & COMPETENCIES• Strategic Brand Building & Long-Term Positioning• Consumer-First Mindset with Strong Analytical & Insight Application• Integrated Marketing Leadership Across Paid, Owned & Earned Channels• Cross-Functional Collaboration with Sales, Trade, Innovation & Global Teams• Digital Strategy, Social Media, Influencer & CRM Management• Omnichannel Execution & E-commerce Acceleration• Innovation & Portfolio Strategy Including Product Development & Launch• P&L Ownership, Budget Management & ROI Optimization• Strong Commercial Acumen & Category Leadership• Team Leadership, Mentorship & Organizational Culture Building• Results-Oriented, Growth-Minded, and Passionate About StorytellingMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMinimum of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field.10+ years marketing experience in Bev Alc, Consumer Packaged Goods, or on a Lifestyle BrandMarketing strategic approach and planningSolid understanding of the 3-Tier Distributor system, is a plusAbility to multi-task & prioritize to deliver results on time and on-or-under budgetAbility to interact with all levels of management and personnel, locally and abroadProven desire and ability to think strategically and creatively, coupled with financial acumen and strong analytical / problem-solving skillsProficient PC skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), syndicated database experience (Nielsen)TRAVELAble to occasionally travel.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:Base salary range: $140,000/yr. - $170,000/yr. exact compensation may vary based on skills, experiences, and location.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Requires the ability to sit at a desk for extended periods of time, working with computers and other office equipment.OTHER DUTIESPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
