This position will oversee all daily operations and will lead café teams in Lucky Goat's vision, define and meet growth benchmarks, and continue to enhance the customer experience our patrons have come to love! Primary FunctionDirect and manage all café teams, facilities, customer experience, and financial performance. Full P&L accountability for all café operations.  RequirementsBachelors degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required.Minimum of ten years of management experience within a food service industry with a heavy emphasis on operations.Demonstrated successful track record of leading teams and directing the execution of food and beverage operations, ideally coffee.Managed 50+ employees, ideally within multi-unit establishments.A true operator, comfortable with hands on approach, focused on efficiency and perfecting the details.Knowledge of best practices for risk management, food prep, and service.Significant experience in a fast-paced environment with proven success in scaling systems and teams to meet company objectives.Exceptional communicator and active listener with the ability to make connections with people at all levels of the company.Ability to make quick decisions based on sound judgment and best practices guidelines.Flexible work schedule, ensuring availability during peak business volume and on-call 7 days a week.Genuinely passionate about the Specialty Coffee Industry and the Lucky Goat Coffee brand.Servant leader with a "people first" approach and a desire to develop team members into career coffee professionals by building a positive workplace culture. Ability to analyze data, produce comprehensive reports, and use data to drive behavior.Thorough understanding of financials including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Job ResponsibilitiesOversees Cafe Leadership in performing day-to-day operations of Lucky Goat Coffee corporate cafes and catering outlets.Responsible for leading our cafe teams to deliver exceptional in-store experience driving traffic, sales, and customer loyalty. Ensuring all customers receive excellence in both products and services.Develop and maintain an operating budget in partnership with Senior Leadership and our Finance Department. Accountable for setting and hitting revenue and gross profit targets, payroll budgets and managing all cafe expenses.Establish a staffing plan and lead recruiting efforts for café needs from initial interview to onboarding completion in partnership with Human Resources. Provide continuous coaching and development to café leadership teams to inspire success and continued career growth. Oversee performance management process for café employees and continuously improve competencies and developmental tools with the support of HR and the Education departments.  Provide concise communication and leadership to café management regarding standards, operational functions, and expectations for performance. Identify and implement best practices and systems for customer experience, sales, staffing, and inventory management.  Cultivate a positive and values-based culture that inspires, develops, and recognizes commitment to craft, customer focus, and a drive for results that delivers a superior guest experience.Develop a high-quality and safe operational environment by establishing and maintaining excellence in food and beverage preparation and execution in accordance with Food Safety and sanitation standards.Responsible for deployment of initiatives to continuously manage shrinkage and oversee cash handling for all locations.Oversee outside vendor partnerships to ensure strong working relationships are established and maintained.Maintain a passing score on Internal Compliance Audits in all café locations. Maintain strong working relationships with all departments within Lucky Goat Coffee.
