The Fulfillment Fund offers a supportive and dynamic workplace where staff are empowered to lead with purpose and creativity.General Summary:The Manager of Community Engagement & Partnerships is a key relationship-builder and connector responsible for engaging Fulfillment Fund's volunteer community, alumni network, and strategic partners in meaningful ways that advance the organization's mission. This role cultivates relationships, designs engagement strategies, and collaborates across departments to ensure students, alumni, volunteers, and corporate/community partners feel valued, connected, and inspired to support Fulfillment Fund's work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Volunteer Engagement & Management (35%)Develop and implement a comprehensive volunteer engagement strategy, aligning volunteer opportunities with organizational priorities.Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and stewardship.In collaboration with program team, coordinate logistics for volunteer participation in student workshops, career events, mentorship programs, and fundraising events.In collaboration with Chief Program Officer, track and report volunteer participation and satisfaction metrics.Collaborate with Development and Marketing teams to recognize and celebrate volunteers, as well as move volunteers into donor pipeline for continued engagement.Alumni Engagement & Activation (35%)In collaboration with Career Advisor and Chief Program Officer, develop and implement strategies to maintain relationships with Fulfillment Fund alumni.In collaboration with Career Advisor and Chief Program Officer, create opportunities for alumni to engage as volunteers, donors, advocates, and ambassadors.Partner with Program Team to support alumni career development workshops, networking events, and communications.Maintain accurate alumni data in CRM; ensuring accurate migration of data from CoPilot to Raiser's Edge.Develop alumni communication plans in collaboration with Marketing.Partner with Development on engaging alumni in opportunities to fundraise for/donate to Fulfillment FundPartnership Development & Community Engagement (20%)In collaboration with Chief Program Officer and VP for Development, identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with corporate, community, and university partners to expand volunteer pools, enhance student programming, and when possible, secure corporate sponsorships or fee-for-service support.Support Program Team in identifying and securing guest speakers, internship hosts, and career exploration partners.Represent Fulfillment Fund at community events and partnership meetings.Cross-Departmental Collaboration & Operations (10%)Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Raiser's Edge or other CRM systems.Partner with Development team on volunteer engagement for events and stewardship efforts.Partner with Program team to support student-facing events and ensure volunteer readiness.Support Marketing & Communications with volunteer and alumni storytelling.Supervisory, Team Leadership and Other Responsibilities:The position has does not have any staff supervisory responsibilities.Employees will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the office, school sites and other work-related locations.Qualifications:3-5 years experience in volunteer management, alumni engagement, community relations, or partnership development.Strong relationship-building, communication, and project management skills.Experience working with diverse communities and fostering inclusive environments.Proficiency in CRM platforms (Raiser's Edge and Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office, and social media engagement.Passion for educational equity and belief in the power of community engagement and volunteerism as a driver of the donor development cycle/building philanthropic support.Education and/or Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Social Sciences/Liberal Arts, Business, or a related field.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee will constantly work in indoor/outdoor weather conditions.Conditions of Employment:Hiring is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, Live Scan & TB test.Compensation:Salary range: $72,000- $78,000, depending on experience.Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match.Generous paid time off, including holidays, vacation, sick leave, and the week between Christmas and New Year's.Hybrid work schedule with two in-office days per week.Professional development support within a collaborative, purpose-driven culture.
