Social Media Manager (Start Up Social Media App)PART-TIME, EQUITY-ONLY position at this stage.PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE SEEKING CASH COMPENSATION AND/OR INTENDING TO PITCH CONSULTING SERVICES.IF you want to be part of a new start-up establishing a new social media paradigm and use case read on!The Venue platform is a digital social platform under development creating a new paradigm for all commercial communities which involves physical interaction. Examples of such communities include malls, stadiums, resorts, amusement parks, exhibition events, festivals, compounds, etc. We aim to provide owners, operators, and managers with tools to engage in real-time interaction with visitors, who are provided with better-engaged experience with targeted real-time information and offerings. The goal is to increase visitor engagement, satisfaction, and transaction outcomes.We are looking for a creative, self-starting Social Media Manager to build our online presence from scratch and grow a loyal community that's excited to use the platform.This role is perfect for someone who's excited about startup energy, digital storytelling, and building organic buzz"” someone who doesn't just "post," but crafts a strategy.Job DescriptionWe're not looking for someone to maintain existing platforms "” because we don't have any (yet!). This role is for someone who can:Strategically set up and manage our social media presence from scratchDevelop and execute an organic growth strategy to build an audienceCreate compelling content that reflects our brand and valuesEngage with followers to build community and trustWhat You Will DoSet up and manage social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) for the app brand.Develop and execute an ORGANIC growth strategy that builds interest and drives early sign-ups.Create engaging digital content: short-form videos, graphics, reels, memes, stories, behind-the-scenes, etc.Help shape the content and messaging for the website, ensuring it aligns with our brand tone and conversion goals.Recruit and coordinate a network of influencers to help amplify our brand before and during launch.Build and manage a team of campus ambassadors or promoters to test the app, spread the word, and give feedback.Track performance, run A/B tests, and pivot strategies based on data and engagement.Be the voice of the brand, sparking conversations and building community in a fun, relatable way.We're Looking For Someone WhoHas experience building a social presence for brands (especially early-stage or new products).Is confident with content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).Has a network of micro- or mid-tier influencers, or knows how to find and engage them.Has experience (or strong ideas) around campus/community marketing.Understands how to create content that drives conversions (follows, signups, app downloads).Thrives in fast-moving, "figure-it-out-as-you-go" environments.Loves social media and is up to date on what's trending, what's flopping, and what's viral.What Success Looks LikeActive and growing social media presence within the first 1-3 monthsCommunity engagement and brand buzz before we even launchFollowers converting into real app sign-ups and testersBonus Points if youHave worked in startups or social apps before.Have grown a personal or brand account to 100k+ followers organically.Are a creator yourself "” you live and breathe pensation 0.25% - 0.5% of Newco.
