Paralegal

Position OverviewUltimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join their clients team in the SW Houston area (Fort Bend County). This role requires an individual who has 5-10 years as a paralegal and strong litigation experience. Experience with eminent domain cases is a plus!You will play a critical role in both prelitigation and litigation processes, working closely with attorneys and clients to ensure the highest quality of service and compliance with legal standards.ResponsibilitiesManage new client files, calendar deadlines, and assist staff/attorneys in compliance with deadlines.Deliver high-quality services to the firms clients.Prepare and assemble materials for hearings.Work with appraisers and prepare clients for hearings with the assigned attorney.Monitor for award filing and prepare and serve objections.Prepare and file motions as needed.Prepare and send discovery on behalf of clients and respond to discovery from opposing counsel.Schedule and prepare drafts of mediation memoranda.Draft settlement letters and other correspondence.Prepare exhibits, witness lists, and testimony outlines.Work HoursOnsite Monday through Friday 8am-5pmBenefitsCompetitive salary and benefits package.Additional DetailsSalary ***** $50,000 - $75,000 per year depending on experienceAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
