A law firm in San Francisco has an amazing opportunity for a Corporate Legal Assistantwho is looking to be part of a new practice group in our growing and dynamic organization. The Corporate Legal Assistant plays a key role in providing support to the corporate attorneys, including document production, working directly with clients, and assisting with the establishment of attorneys practices and projects.Essential *****Prepare, revise, redline and proofread various corporate documents including contracts, agreements, transactional matters, compliance, closing documents, audit letters, etc.Assist with the assembly of pre-closing documents and sets of executed documents for various signatures and amendmentsWork closely with private equity and corporate clients as an extension of the practice groupWorking knowledge of filing procedures, requirements and e-filing with the Secretary of State office, in addition to Federal, State and local courtsCreate and maintain client and administrative files in the document management system.Schedule appointments, including meeting invites, video conference details, conference room requests, meal requests, and maintain the attorneys calendar.Enter and submit the attorneys billable time and review proformasPerform initial conflict checks and open/close client matters and prepare engagement lettersMonitor case deadlines and work with the Docket Department to ensure deadlines are entered and met.Coordinate travel arrangements and track travel expenses for timely reimbursementCommunicate professionally and promptly with internal and external clients to deliver a high level of customer serviceQualificationsMUST have a High School Diploma in addition to three years of corporate experience, preferably in private equity mattersAbility to support 4-5 attorneys at one timeMust be able to handle multiple priorities at one time, work well with others and have excellent communication skills Comprehensive knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and PDF softwareExperience with InTapp Time, Intapp Open, Chrome River Expense Reporting, Aderant, Interaction, iManage are plusesMust possess an excellent customer service attitudeMust be able to work in the office 3 days a week
