CNC Vertical Mill Machinist

CNC Vertical MachinistA machinist will produce machined parts by setting up and operating mills; maintains quality and safety standards; keeps records; and maintains the equipment.Duties/ResponsiblitiesSet-up and run 4-axis vertical and horizontal CNC milling machines.Reads and interprets blueprints, process sheets and work instructions to determine specifications and machining to be done.Loads control media in machine controller or enter commands to retrieve programs from file server. Makes minor edits to programs.Performs own inspection utilizing precision measurement instruments.Qualifications and ***** High school diploma or GED.3 years minimum experience working as a CNC Machinist.Proficient in the use of inspection tools (calipers, mics, and gauges)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and travelers.Well organized; detailed oriented; strong work ethics and ability to self motivate.
