Our team is dedicated to quality, safety, and providing a positive customer experience throughout all cargo handling operations.Job Description:The Operations Manager assists with the day-to-day activities of the air cargo operation and must be able to assume the responsibility of their shift. The specific duties vary by location, at the direction of the Station Management. They may include primary responsibility for the following:Overseeing cargo handling operations to ensure packages are received, sorted, and loaded efficientlyEnsuring all cargo flights are properly staffed, with Supervisors assigned to each operational areaManaging inbound and outbound package flow to meet tight timelines and ensure customer requirements are metEnsuring compliance with safety regulations and cargo security protocolsManaging documentation for cargo manifests, weight distribution, and inventory trackingAssisting with records management, shift reports, and incident documentationEnsuring staff receive on-the-job training for efficient package handling and safety proceduresCommunicating effectively with airlines, ground handlers, and other partners to provide exceptional serviceSupporting staff in achieving performance goals and ensuring adherence to safety standardsCounseling, coaching, and participating in employee disciplinary actions when neededEnsuring proper use of equipment such as conveyor belts, forklifts, and cargo loadersDemonstrating regular, predictable attendance at the job locationExceeding customer service and safety standardsCarrying out other duties as assignedGeneral Qualifications:18 years of ageDrivers License Required Eligible to work in the United StatesComputer Skills:Proficiency in Outlook and Word.
