MUST HAVE BANKING EXPERIENCEPosition SummaryWe are seeking a, motivated, and bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR). As the face of the bank, the CSR plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position involves assisting clients with a variety of banking needs, promoting products and services, and ensuring all interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively serve our diverse client base and support inclusive communication.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers in a courteous, professional manner and assist with their banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, account inquiries, and product information.Build positive relationships with customers through excellent service and follow-up.Handle customer concerns or complaints with empathy and escalate when necessary to resolve issues efficiently.Process routine banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including check cashing, money orders, and account maintenance.Ensure all transactions comply with bank policies, procedures, and security standards.Follow all operational and compliance procedures, including those related to security, identity verification, and BSA/AML regulations.Maintain accurate and confidential records of customer interactions and transactions.Assist with end-of-day balancing, cash handling, and branch operations as needed.Work closely with other branch team members to meet service and sales goals.Qualifications1-2 years of experience in retail banking, customer service, or cash-handling roles preferred.Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written) is required.Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Comfortable working with computers, banking systems, and Microsoft Office.High attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality customer experience.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in customer service or banking a plus.
