Our portfolio spans 8 states across the US. Position: Regional Construction Manager - Arizona / Texas (based in Phoenix)Reports to: Senior Regional Construction ManagerAbout the Role: The Regional Construction Manager oversees the construction and capital improvement activities across a regional multifamily portfolio including new construction, remodels, and repairs. This position will supervise multiple trades and work closely with purchasing, design, asset management, and property management to ensure work is performed per the terms of the contract. This position will also participate in property operations and work closely with property management and asset management to ensure ColRich standards are being met at all properties. This position will be based in Phoenix (metro) but requires frequent travel to Houston and San Antonio. Specific responsibilities include:Schedule coordination with trades Quality control Ensures the work performed is per the terms of the contracts Weekly property inspectionsOversight of major capital expenditure projectsDue diligence support as needed during new property acquisitionsMaintaining budgets through constructionContract negotiationsSourcing vendorsCreating scopes of work TravelFrequent travel to Houston and San Antonio2+ visits per year to corporate headquarters in San Diego for company events and trainingRequirements: Minimum of 5-10 years of construction industry experience. Multifamily construction experience preferred.Travel is required (25% - 50%)Ability to read and interpret plans Basic knowledge of building codes and permit process Ability to create a construction schedule Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to process work quickly and accurately with changing prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communications skillsExcellent time management skillsExcellent communication skillsComputer proficiency in Excel, Word, Project, and BluebeamBenefits:Base salary and discretionary annual bonus competitive with industry standards $90,000/yr - $110,000/yrHealth and dental insurance paid fully at the employee level by employer 401(k) planPaid holidays and vacation time
