Tool and Die Maker Hourly Range: 30.00 DOEShift: TBDDepartment: Tool ShopTarget(basic targets for job holder's orientation)The position Tool Mechanic/Tool and Die Maker aims on gaining high customer satisfaction while following all customer and production requests. It is the position's responsibility to deliver tools and spare parts of its shift in a timely and technologically manner observing given data, quantities, timelines and standards of quality assurance and HSE while making best use of human resources as well as machines, production facilities a.s.o. Reduce external and internal complaints and avoid repeat errors due to expert working and handling the products conforming to standards.Tasks(important main tasks in logical order)Maintain tools and support production in case of an error during productionMaintain and repair tools according the standards and descriptions (tool maintenance plan)Support production with tool adjustments and setups if necessaryControl and monitoring of work area byOrganization of useful tools, production facilities, material and other appliancesAs well as training of support personnelSetting up the complete assetsReleasing production tools according to test plan of quality assuranceClearing the asset conforming to accident prevention regulationSupport Production/Press in all matters if neededTasks in complete work areaTimely provision of products per requirementStart remedial actions when disturbances occur in order to grant continuous productionRelease tools after test/examinationASM / USM / Orderliness/Cleanliness in complete work areaObservation of HES instructions in area of responsibility and in direct work environmentObservation of cleanliness and orderliness in area of responsibility and in direct work environmentCompetences(special authorization, approval entitlement)Release production tools according to general plant safety regulation (accident prevention regulation).Responsibility (area)(technical responsibility, responsibility for staff)Responsible for trouble-free process in area of workObservation of existing safety and environmental company codesMonitoring spare parts stockObligation to report problems to the management of GE, PPL, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, internal clients and internal suppliers within the processEnvironmental Conditions Of Work PlaceThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
