Live-in Nanny & Home Manager | Houston, TXAbout Our FamilyWe are a professional family in Houston seeking an experienced, dedicated Live-in Nanny and Home Manager to join our household. We have three wonderful children: Liam (2), Caroline (8), and Grace (11). Our family values education, structure, and nurturing care while maintaining a warm, supportive home environment.Position OverviewWere looking for a full-time, live-in professional who can provide consistent, attentive childcare while also managing household operations and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will excel in both childcare and home management, being comfortable with multiple age groups and efficient in handling household administration.Primary Responsibilities:Child and Home CareProvide engaged, developmentally appropriate care for three children ages 2, 8, and 11Manage childrens daily routines including meals, hygiene, and activitiesPlan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the childrenSupport school-aged children with homework and educational enrichmentImplement age-appropriate activities for our toddlers developmentTransport children to/from school daily (all children attend school)Handle drop-offs and pickups for school and activitiesPerform all household laundry including washing, drying, folding, and putting away childrens and family clothing, bedding, and towelsMaintain organization of childrens spaces and family living areasPrepare family meals and clean kitchen after meal preparationHome ManagementManage household bills, statements, and financial paperworkCoordinate family calendar and schedulingArrange and oversee service providers (cleaners, maintenance, etc.)Manage household inventory and ordering suppliesHandle routine correspondence and administrative tasksPlan and coordinate family vacations and travel arrangementsMaintain household filing systems and important documentsCoordinate special events and family gatherings as neededPerform daily cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, and bathroom maintenanceHandle grocery shopping and meal planning for the familyMaintain overall cleanliness and organization of the homePerform deep cleaning tasks as needed throughout the homeCare for family dog including feeding, walking, and basic groomingRun essential household errands as neededQualificationsMinimum 3-5 years of professional childcare experienceExperience with household management and administrative tasksProven ability to manage multiple priorities effectivelyStrong financial organization and basic bookkeeping skillsValid drivers license with excellent driving recordCurrent CPR and First Aid certificationStrong cooking and meal preparation skillsExceptional organizational abilities and time managementTechnology proficient (calendar apps, bill payment systems, etc.)Background check and verifiable references requiredComfortable with pet care and dog walkingPreferred QualificationsEarly childhood education background or certificationExperience managing household budgets and expensesPrevious administrative or executive assistant experienceSwimming and water safety certificationExperience with special dietary requirements and meal planningAccommodations & BenefitsPrivate bedroom and bathroom on the third floor of family homeCompetitive weekly salary commensurate with experiencePaid vacation and personal daysWeekly schedule with clearly defined time offCan join family vacationsHow to ApplyQualified candidates please apply directly through LinkedIn with your resume and a brief introduction describing your childcare philosophy, home management experience, and relevant skills.
