Our mission is to deliver compelling, educational, and entertaining content to passionate hunters through digital platforms, print, podcasts, and television. We're seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video & Podcast Producer to join our dynamic team and help tell stories that inform and inspire.Position Overview:The Video & Podcast Producer is responsible for developing, producing, and editing original video series, podcasts, and occasional television content. You'll work closely with our editorial, marketing, and production teams to create engaging outdoor-focused content that resonates with our loyal audience. Hunting experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person with a passion for storytelling and a strong visual sense.Key Responsibilities:Produce, shoot, and edit online video series forDeer & Deer Hunting's digital platforms and social mediaPlan, record, and edit weekly podcasts (audio & video)Support occasional television production (field shoots, interviews, post-production)Collaborate with editorial staff and subject matter experts to develop content ideas and scriptsManage media assets, organize footage, and maintain project archivesEnsure all content meets brand standards and deadlinesTravel 20-40% during the fall months for field production (travel varies by project)Maintain equipment inventory and ensure gear is field-readyStay current on industry trends, hunting topics, and digital media best practicesPreferred Qualifications:2+ years of experience in video production, podcast production, or a related field (outdoor industry experience a plus)Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar editing software); familiarity with Adobe Audition or other audio tools is a bonusStrong storytelling skills with an eye for composition, pacing, and audience engagementExperience operating DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio recorders, and related gearComfortable working independently and as part of a team in both studio and field environmentsKnowledge of whitetail deer hunting and outdoor content (preferred but not required)Strong organizational and communication skillsWillingness to travel and work flexible hours during peak seasonsWhat We Offer:Opportunity to work with an iconic outdoor media brandCreative freedom and the ability to shape meaningful hunting stories401K + Match, Medical, Dental & VisionTravel opportunities to prime hunting destinationsA collaborative, passionate team environmentHow to Apply:Submit your resume, cover letter, and a link to your portfolio or samples of relevant video/audio work to david.gilane@.
