Day to Day:The Deputy Project Manager is responsible for assuming the duties of the Project Manager when they are unavailable. This position will oversee a team of facility maintenance technicians and facility operations specialists. Projects range from regular preventative and reactive maintenance to minor construction projects.Essential Job Functions:Manage the day to day operations of the facilities under contractEnsuring project Safety/SecurityManage the preventative and reactive maintenance programs for all facilities utilizing CMMS systemsAssists in developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityDevelop detailed plans to track special projectsUse appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costsMeasure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and, techniquesReport and escalate to management as neededPlan, organize and supervise maintenance and repairs performed by building staff. Responsible for maintaining and improving buildingsResponsible for buildings quality control. Inspects facilities and work areas to eliminate deficiencies Must Haves: Minimum 5 years of recent experience (within the past 7 years) in the management and supervision of building mechanical maintenance operations for large commercial office buildings.Experience in a buildings of a similar size (1,000,000 sf portfolio within a single time frame)Experience in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)Experience directing or supervising mechanical operations and maintenance in buildings
