We offer a welcoming atmosphere where staff members work as an empowered team to serve our clients.Our suburban office location allows you to avoid long commutes to downtown Phoenix "” a perfect setting for an experienced professional seeking a long-term career.Position Overview:We are seeking a Senior Personal Injury Paralegal to independently manage a full caseload from intake through settlement or litigation.You will supervise a junior paralegal/assistant and play a leadership role in building and improving the personal injury department's systems and workflows.This is an opportunity for an experienced paralegal to take ownership of their work, make a real impact, and grow professionally in a supportive environment.Primary Responsibilities:Pre-Litigation Duties:Manage client intake and case onboardingCollect, organize, and review medical records and billing statementsMonitor client treatment progress and maintain updated case filesIdentify and resolve healthcare, hospital, and lienholder claims (Medicare, AHCCCS, private insurance, ERISA)Draft comprehensive settlement demand packagesCommunicate regularly with clients, medical providers, and insurance adjustersHandle property damage claims, loss of use, and diminished value issuesTrack and manage deadlines and case milestonesLitigation Support Duties:Assist attorneys with drafting complaints, disclosures, discovery responses, and subpoenasOrganize and prepare case files for mediation, arbitration, depositions, and trialCalendar litigation deadlines and manage court filingsCoordinate service of process and work with expert witnessesSupervisory Duties:Oversee and delegate tasks to a junior paralegal assistantGuide and monitor quality control of support tasks, such as medical record retrieval, file maintenance, and document preparationAdditional Opportunities (Optional):If desired, assist on criminal defense cases involving discovery, trial preparation, and client supportQualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience as a plaintiffs personal injury paralegal (pre-litigation and litigation)Strong understanding of personal injury law, medical terminology, and case managementPrior experience with liens, healthcare subrogation, and medical billingProficient with case management software (e.g., Filevine, MyCase, Clio, SmartAdvocate) and Microsoft OfficeExcellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines independentlyClient-focused communication skills "” professional and empatheticSupervisory experience preferred but not requiredWork Schedule & Flexibility:Full-time, Monday through FridayIn-office presence required for onboarding and trainingHybrid remote work available after training and integrationCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary based on experienceHealth insurance providedTwo weeks paid vacation annually (available after 60 days)401(k) participation once establishedBonus opportunities based on performancePaid major holidaysSupportive and respectful work environment with real growth potentialKey Selling Points:Suburban West Valley location- avoid long downtown commutesLeadership opportunity- build and lead the PI departmentHybrid flexibility- after onboarding
