We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support our busy Real Estate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial real estate transactions, strong document management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with the preparation, review, and revision of real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, closing binders, and title and survey reviewsCoordinate due diligence processes, including managing checklists, gathering documentation, and communicating with clients and third partiesDraft correspondence, track critical dates, and maintain closing calendarsAssist with preparing and filing documents for commercial real estate closingsLiaise with title companies, surveyors, lenders, and municipal agencies to obtain necessary documentationMaintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical case filesSupport billing processes and manage attorney time entries as neededQualifications3+ years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a real estate practice (law firm or in-house legal department)Strong understanding of real estate transactional processes and documentationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems (e.g., iManage, NetDocuments)Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a teamExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsBachelors degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required
