Program Manager MarketingThe Sage Group's client, one of the largest technology companies in the world, is seeking a program manager to join their marketing team for their home hardware and software products that help people manage their everyday lives.This Product Marketing team is looking for a hybrid marketer, someone with program management and marketing strategy experience.Your job will be to run point on marketing strategies developed by the Product Marketing team. Depending on that plan, the team you'll be driving to execute against that plan can include Product Management, UX, Creative, Advertising, Social, Web, Email, and Channel Marketing.You'll work with all of those teams to understand upcoming product updates and launches, track launch readiness, track marketing asset development (with producers and agencies), identify and escalate any risks, and ultimately ensure a successful marketing campaign. You'll support your launch with creative assets, which you will lead from creative briefing to launch.Program management:Develop and maintain launch processes and a tracker for your product launches.Key responsibilities will include the execution and coordination of marketing campaigns to support upcoming consumer hardware and software launches.Represent the Product Marketing team on cross-functional core teams. Track launch milestones, launch readiness, and lead reviews to ensure team members are aligned on their common objectives and upper management approvals.Work cross-functionally to develop and cultivate relationships with Product Marketers, Product Managers, UX Designers, copywriters, and producers.Must have a collaborative style, be able to communicate critical changes across the organization, and cultivate and maintain an open environment where ideas are shared, questioned, and tested.Marketing strategy + asset development:Lead product marketing strategy to support the launch of new software updates across the portfolio of devices (including Energy, Security, and Entertainment)Develop compelling creative briefs to initiate the creation of marketing assets to support product launches.Serve as the product expert on your launches to ensure your products are accurately represented across all marketing and sales-related assets.Lead development of marketing assets to support those launchesCreative briefCross-functional collaboration, especially with Product Management, Engineering, and MarketingAsset reviewsMinimum Qualifications (MQs):4-6 years of product marketing or similar experience in consumer tech, preferably hardware products, while understanding software feature development.Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.Preferred Qualifications (PQs):Experience in product marketing, consumer marketing, and insights, ideally in consumer hardware or other goods with fixed launch timelines.Experience working with software teams, including feature development and GTM strategies.Understanding of the GTM process from concept to asset creation to launch and post-launch in market support.Strong understanding of product marketing, including user research, strategic planning, crafting positioning/messaging, and developing creative assets across all modern marketing channels.Exceptional interpersonal skills working in a matrixed organization; experience successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams across geographies; strong written and verbal communication skills.Duration: This is a long-term contract through the end of 2025 to extend YoYCompensation: $ 75.00 hourly, W-2Location: SF Bay Area, CA
