***** Senior Industrial Electrician***** Muskegon***** $47-$50 p/h***** 2nd or 3rd shift availableOur client, a leading industrial manufacturer, is seeking a Senior Industrial Electrician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to play a vital role in maintaining and improving advanced electrical systems within a dynamic production environment.Key **Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across the facility.Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and industry regulations.Diagnose and fix electrical faults on motors, furnaces, hydraulic systems, and automated equipment.Conduct maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes, hoists, and production machinery.Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Install, upgrade, and modify electrical components and control panels.Execute conduit runs and electrical cabinet layouts efficiently.Lead projects focused on system improvements and process optimization.Mentor and support junior electricians and apprentices.Utilize PLCs, including Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, RS Linx), PLC-5, and SLC500 hardware.Operate forklifts, articulating boom lifts, and scissor lifts (training and certification provided by our clients safety team).Document maintenance activities and complete work orders using digital systems.**High school diploma or GED (required).Certification as a Master Electrician, Technical Trade School diploma, or an Associate's Degree in Electrical or Electronics (preferred).Minimum of 10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience.Strong knowledge of electrical systems up to 480 volts.Experience working with PLC controls and troubleshooting electrical components.Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools (e.g., motor testing, sensor troubleshooting, solenoid testing).Familiarity with electronic instrumentation such as temperature controllers, chart recorders, I/P and P/I converters, and variable frequency drives.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Must provide own personal hand tools.If you meet the above qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please apply for immediate consideration.
