The Land Administration Contractor will work closely withthe Land team across all existing assets and any future acquisitions. Thisindividual will create value through supporting and executing city and countyregulatory requirements, well staking and platting, efficient data anddocument management processes and ensuring that the larger team isadequately supported.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Support execution of drilling, completions, recompletions and workovers through FAA requirements, city permitting, inspections and notifications, county permitting and hearing processes, new well and restim staking and plattingManage and coordinate the circulation and review of AFEs, other communications and with working interest partnersEnsure the timely and accurate processing of land's obligations and paymentsSupport automation of key land data processes and workflows to minimize manual task executionSupport land's data management in Enertia, ODL, Thoughttrace, iManage and ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise, keeping data up to date and quality controlling data accuracyShared responsibility over innovation and improvement in how land utilizes available dataDocument, review and process interest owner attribute updates in workflows and systemsClose coordination with other functions and the data management team to drive alignment and maximize efficiencies across the organizationAnalyze, document, and draft Land Documents including but not limited to oil and gas leases, joint operating agreements, surface use agreements, easements, carbon storage agreements, joint venture and partnership agreements, oil and gas assignments, and purchase and sale agreementsResearch mineral, surface, and title ownership in support of land positions and potential acquisitionsAssist New Ventures and Integration teams with the review and intake of data and documents arising from new entity and asset acquisitionsSupport any and all other administrative needs of land functionsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Bachelor's degree preferred.A minimum of three (3) years of experience in land administration, local regulatory or similar experience in the oil and gas industry or natural resources.Self-starter with demonstrated problem solving skill and experienceExcellent organization and coordination skills.Willingness to complete tasks from the relatively mundane to the highly complexStrong eye for improving processes, efficiency, automation and workflowsProficient in excel, PowerPoint, or Smartsheet required. Knowledge of other business intelligence tools for dashboards, querying, visualization, etc. is a plus.Demonstrated experience in document and data managementProven experience in managing multiple teams and or client groups.Proven track in planning and leading large scale strategic initiativesExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated openness, agility, grit, and resilience.Experience in a fast paced, dynamic environmentWORKING CONDITIONS:The job is based in the DFW, TX area. However, we are open to other locations and flexible working arrangement for highly qualified candidates.Occasional travel may be required and would be on an as needed basis. Currently estimated less than 5% of total time.REPORTING STRUCTURE:This role will report directly to the Land Manager for the Barnett BasinRole has no direct reports.Job Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hourWork Location: In person
