We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and development of rotating equipment, product design, and sheet metal components.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of rotating equipment systems, ensuring product performance and reliability.Develop and implement innovative solutions for sheet metal fabrication, including cost-effective manufacturing techniques.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, production, and quality assurance, to drive projects from concept to completion.Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO) for creating detailed engineering drawings and 3D models.Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and FMEA for new and existing products.Analyze test data and performance metrics to refine designs and enhance product functionality.Support the development of technical documentation, including design specifications, engineering reports, and user manuals.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory standards.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically in rotating equipment and sheet metal fabrication.Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO) and finite element analysis (FEA).Strong knowledge of material selection, stress analysis, and thermal analysis.Proven experience in product lifecycle management (PLM) and design for manufacturability (DFM).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Preferred:Professional Engineer (PE) certification.Experience in the OEM or heavy industrial manufacturing sector.Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.Benefits:Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement plan with company match.Opportunities for professional development and advancement.
