Mental Health Technician

Job ***** Mental Health Clinician ***** East Elmhurst, NY ***** Morning and Evening shift ***** 3 Months with a strong possibility of further extension Pay ***** $60-64/hr.Job **Provide quality mental health care to incarcerated adult men under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor and Mental Health Unit Chief at the facility.Conduct mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and follow-up care.Determine and coordinate appropriate disposition and level of mental health care for patients.Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers to support effective discharge planning.Complete required statistical reports and maintain accurate documentation.Collaborate with the Department of Corrections to ensure patient access, appropriate housing, and treatment disposition.Perform additional duties as directed by the Unit Chief, Assistant Unit Chief, and Clinical Supervisor.Experience conducting both assessment and treatment with adults with behavioral problems, substance use histories, and severe mental illness.Inpatient or related experience.Education & ***Master's degree in social work, Psychology, or related field.New York State License in Social Work, License in Mental Health Counseling, or licensure in Psychology."Pride Health offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors"
