HVAC Technician

**Responsible for routine and complex inspection, maintenance, repair, alteration and installation of refrigeration, building automation controls, mechanical systems, and equipment.Support construction and project initiatives through scope development sketches, field assessment and document review to ensure compliance and specific facility building standards are met.Repairs, installs, and maintains refrigeration, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls.Performs routine inspections and monitors HVAC systems and controls. Diagnosing and correcting malfunctions as necessary to ensure compliant environment for temperature, humidity and pressure standards.Oversees contractors performing service work in terms of quality to the Memorial Healthcare System standards, compliance and workmanship.Manages and interface systems with building automation software applications.Actively mentors peers on the basics of refrigeration, heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls work focusing on safety and compliance requirements.Able read schematic diagrams and blueprints to perform high level maintenance and electrical installations.Education and Certification **Vocation Technical (Required) HVAC Certification (HVAC) - Classroom Training (CLASSROOM TRAINING)Additional Education **** Graduate of an accredited school or technical diploma.Certified in HVAC and or Refrigeration.Required Work ***** Four (4) years of experience.
